New York Times Book Review • Historical Fiction Review Illustrations

Since mid-2020, I’ve been illustrating spots for the New York Times Book Review’s historical fiction roundups. These reviews allow me to stretch my imagination and reach into my art history background for inspiration. All thanks to art directors Matt Dorfman and Catherine Gilmore-Barnes for allowing me to create such a fun range of work to run online and in print alongside the reviewers’ sharp writing.
